dot.GAMING Studio has announced an invite-only beta test for Sailwars, a Web3 naval-based 4X strategy game.

Beta Test Details

The company has announced that this test phase is planned to take start on January 15th, 2024, and will potentially last for 2 weeks.

With this test, the developers are focusing on showcasing the game’s main features to a select group of players who will get to play through web browsers and mobile devices. This means that some of the content that will be available includes early-game introduction quests, PVE and PVP battles, main city building and troops training, outpost and kingdom sieges, as well as a preview of the game’s massive world map, Etrurar. Social features, alliance, garrison, rallying and expedition functions are also set to be included for testing, during which players are said to enjoy smoother gameplay coupled with UI optimizations and early animations for various UI elements.

Players who complete pre-test tasks will have an opportunity to redeem various rewards such as $SWT tokens, $IDT tokens, NFTs, and more using points accumulated on the official website. Exclusive in-game rewards for contribution to testing are also planned.

How to Participate

In order to take part in this beta test of the pirate-themed game, players will need to get an invitation code, which will be possible through various different events on the game’s website from December 26th to January 10th, where you’ll earn points that give you a chance of potentially getting selected. Based on the image above from the official announcement, it seems that a total of 2000 players will be invited to test.
