New web3 gaming ecosystem Rekt Games has officially opened sign-ups for their upcoming Early Access Program, during which accepted gamers will be able to play a pre-alpha version of the platform’s first blockchain game: Spludge Wars.

What Is Spludge Wars, Crypto Run, and Rektified?

Spludge Wars is the first flagship third-person shooter from Rekt Games. Designed for both solo and team players, each match locks 12 combatants into an action-packed paintball shootout using an elimination-based format. With this format, after every PvP battle, the victor can either continue alone to claim all the rewards for themselves or choose to ally with defeated opponents to increase their chances of survival later in the match, but split the earnings at the end as a result.

Crypto Run is an upcoming browser-based web3 automated racing game that is built around strategic preparation and anticipation as players get to choose various different spells to place on the track before the race starts in an effort to sabotage opponents and secure victory. Before every race, players must also pay an entry fee between $2 and $10, with the winner taking home the total prize pool, minus a small organizer fee collected by the ecosystem. Each match is a race between 2, 4, or 6 players on dynamic tracks filled with traps, hazards, and random events. Players can deploy both offensive and defensive spells to gain the upper hand across a wide array of different maps that introduce unique environmental challenges, from shifting obstacles to sudden ambushes, ensuring that no two races ever feel the same. Beyond the competitive mode, Crypto Run also supports custom matches where players can set their own entry fees and rules, turning casual runs into high-stakes tournaments.

Rektified is an action-packed roguelike co-op game in which players join forces to battle through challenging biomes filled with enemies, traps, and elemental hazards, with the goal of completing objectives to progress to new levels while surviving waves of enemies for as long as possible. The gameplay revolves around tactical spellcasting and resource management, with every spell consuming a portion of the player’s own health points, turning every attack into a risk vs. reward decision.

What’s Included in Rekt Games’ Early Access Program?

For the launch of the Early Access Program, which does not have an official starting date at the time of writing, players will be able to enjoy a pre-alpha version of Rekt Games’ flagship multiplayer shooter, Spludge Wars, on Windows PCs.
