The producer of Captain Tsubasa Rivals, Shun Fujiyoshi, has shared new information on the 2.0 concept previously talked about during the half-year anniversary.
In the 19th producer’s letter, Fujiyoshi talks about the first 2 of 3 keywords that are set to power the blockchain title’s sequel: “Easier for more people,” “More fun,” and “To a community where Captain Tsubasa fans can enjoy.”
The first keyword talks about how the team has been working on hosting campaigns in an effort to increase their playerbase, with the producer still feeling that there is “a lack of awareness.” To solve this, Fujiyoshi believes that purchasing crypto and creating a wallet are the two main obstacles preventing the growth of the game. As a result, 3 new updates will be added to 2.0 in order to provide a better onboarding experience. These include the “distribution of games as apps,” the option to pay with credit card, as well as the addition of a free-to-play, “initial trial play.”
As for the second keyword, Fujiyoshi talked about it in the half-year anniversary post, but has decided to explain it again in order to provide further clarity. For this keyword, the focus is on balancing the ARENA, that is, PvP, for which the producer states that the developers have decided to turn it into an 11 v 11 game mode instead of playing with 6 or 9 characters.
