The team behind the Kuroro Beasts gaming ecosystem has announced the Bounty Blitz Season for Beast Brawl, through which web3 gamers will get to compete for a token airdrop pool said to be worth $250k, starting from September 10.
What Is Kuroro Beast Brawl?
Beast Brawl is a free to play turn-based PvP game within the Kuroro Beasts gaming ecosystem that features creature-collecting brawler gameplay in the form of competitive 2D battles across regular and wagered 1v1 matches, the latter in which players can risk to earn currency equal to USDC. Create your team of varied and powerful Beasts that differ in stats and 4 abilities as you form dangerous tactics to outsmart your opponents and continuously win to climb and top USDC leaderboards.
This web3 game has been in development for more than 2 years, having launched an open alpha season back in April 2023 before heading to Early Access Season 2 in August of that same year. Early last year, Beast Brawl went live on mobile as a Progressive Web App (PWA), while last month saw the developers tease a new game season that is focused on risk to earn mechanics. That is the season we’re talking about today, Bounty Blitz. Initially planned to launch in August, it looks the devs are now ready to bring their new play to airdrop season to the masses on September 10, with a number of new features that focus on delivering high-stakes gameplay and an engaging blockchain gaming experience.
What’s New in Beast Brawl: Bounty Blitz Season?
The upcoming season introduces a host of new mechanics and expanded prize opportunities to compete for through gameplay:
- $250k $KURO Airdrop Pool
- Brawler Pass With $10k+ USDC Leaderboard
- Casual Leaderboard
- Beast Energy System
- Beast Gacha
- Beast Merge
- 3 Battle Modes: Casual, Brawler, and Wager
At the core is of course the seasonal reward pool, in this case being an airdrop pool of 10 million $KURO tokens that are said to be worth $250k based on last round’s valuation. The rewards don’t stop here though, as there is a chance for this prize pool to increase if more than 10k Brawler Passes are sold.
The Brawler Pass is an essential premium seasonal pass that lets you make the most out of this season’s rewards by giving you a guaranteed airdrop allocation of $KURO tokens while providing exclusive access to this season’s Brawler Leaderboard, triple the battle rewards, and a Brawler Energy Boost to give you the ability to play more ranked PvP matches. The battle rewards in question refer to tripling the number of Shards you earn, an in-game currency that you need in order to recruit more Beasts to potentially build a stronger team. The Brawler Leaderboard comes with a starting prize pool of $10k USDC for at least the top 500 players, and the community is able to further increase it by making purchases throughout the season, with 80% of player spending contributing towards this competitive pool. It looks like the amount of leaderboard spots eligible for rewards could increase based on total user spending. This dynamic USDC leaderboard is set to distribute daily rewards such as Ferry Tickets as well.
If you don’t get the Brawler Pass, you can still play to earn $KURO as a F2P player by collecting as much XP as you can through winning casual PvP matches to climb the Casual Leaderboard.

Energy is a crucial system for this season, as it is needed to play PvP matches each day. Every player receives 5 Energy daily when the server resets at 00:00 UTC. Battles consume 1 Energy. Players can get bonus energy on top of the maximum given for the day, and a catch-up mechanic in the form of the Energy Boost system is in place for those who start a bit later and purchase the Brawler Pass. Additional Energy can also be bought via Energy Drinks, with 80% of drink purchases feeding into the leaderboard prize pool. After the third drink purchase, each drink only restores a maximum of 3 Energy due to diminishing returns.
As you earn the in-game Shards currency through gameplay or buy them through the in-game shop, you get to spend it on the new Beast Gacha system to recruit various off-chain creatures, including Chaos and Order Legendary 1/1 Beasts which are now playable in-game. If you get duplicates, you can use the Beast Merge feature to increase the power of a creature you already own, with the mechanic working for both NFT Beasts and the ones gained off-chain through the Gacha system.
There are 3 battle modes you can enjoy the game in: Casual, Brawler, and Wager.
Casual is the free to play game mode through which you can earn XP from winning battles to climb the Casual Leaderboard for a potential $KURO airdrop while using a weekly curated team of Beasts if you don’t have enough of your own to play.
Brawler is the core ranked PvP game mode available to anyone who buys the Brawler Pass. Players can’t use a weekly free curated team in this one, but do get 7 unique Beasts from the Brawler Pass to create their own and start competing. This mode also awards XP and MMR for its respective P2A and USDC leaderboards.
Last but not least is the Wager mode, which introduces risk to earn gameplay by allowing players to battle it out for real money through the USDK system. USDK is Kuroro USD, an in-game currency that is 1:1 in value with USDC. This means that you can buy USDK from the game and use it in Wager matches, and if you win, you take the spoils. Once the season ends, your USDK is converted to USDC and sent to your connected Abstract or Ronin wallet, so if you’re looking for more than just airdrop leaderboards and a USDC ladder to climb, then this high-stakes mode is another new way you can play and earn in this season.
A referral system is also in place, allowing players to earn 10% of Brawler Pass purchases made by referred friends, with a dedicated $KURO Referral Leaderboard making a return for the season to display the top players contributing to the game’s growth.
How to Play to Earn in Bounty Blitz Season
Once the Bounty Blitz Season begins on September 10, you can start your play to earn and airdrop journey for $KURO tokens by winning PvP matches in Kuroro Beast Brawl for free on Telegram, mobile devices, and web browsers in beta, while those who buy the Brawler Pass and participate in Wager mode matches having a chance to earn USDC as well.
As a free to play player, you can climb the Casual Leaderboard to compete for an airdrop allocation of the ecosystem’s upcoming $KURO token by winning matches in the Casual mode. To make the most of this season though, you will likely want to purchase the Brawler Pass through the game's shop to unlock a guaranteed airdrop allocation alongside Energy and Shards boosts for more chances to compete and win matches while attempting to rank to the top of the exclusive USDC leaderboard, which starts at a prize pool of $10k and grows as players spend throughout the season.
On top of all this, if you feel like you have what it takes to risk to earn USDC, then you can buy USDK, the in-game equivalent of the stablecoin, and wager it in high-stakes Wager mode matches to earn more USDC per match won, with winnings distributed to your connected wallet at the end of the season.

Whether you want to play the strategic turn-based title using off-chain creatures or NFT Beasts, or a mix of both, is up to you. Off-chain Beasts recruited throughout this season will be wiped once the event is over. If you want to have a consistent team over the long-term, you’ll likely want to get NFT Beasts. You can check out the Kuropedia to research all available creatures before buying Beasts or Origin Beasts on the Ronin Market. Your playtime is limited by Energy, which you get at least 5 of every day and consume 1 per match. Players who buy the Brawler Pass get extra Energy, and you can buy Energy Drinks for more fuel, contributing to the season’s USDC reward pool in the process.
As you play and win matches, you get to earn gacha currency Shards, a purchasable in-game currency that lets you recruit more off-chain Beasts, while using the Merge system to burn duplicates and make your existing creature stronger.
