Pixelmon has shared updates on the progress of its activities as the team continues to build on the legendary gaming monster-collecting IP. These updates will be completed in the coming weeks and months. 

Monster Tycoon and PixelPals PVP Season

Monster Tycoon casual game was made in partnership with Play Ember on the Immutable X blockchain. Monster Tycoon is a hyper casual monster collecting & survival game. The game will be on Apple App and Google Play Store once it is completed. It is set for launch at early Q3 2024. 

The last season of PixelPals, Season Zero, saw about 500,000 players who shared a prize pool of 200k. This Season One, there are new pets, evolutions as well as a Trading Card Game (TCG) with a PvP gameplay. The season is coming at third quarter of this year, and very few physical copies of the TCG will be up for grabs. 

Mid Core Game - Warriors Of Nova Thera

The platform is also introducing Warriors of Nova Thera, a dungeon crawler with rogue-like elements.  that will be available on . Players must make strategic choices and test their abilities against unlimited attacks from warrior denizens to ascertain their strength and their hunger for victory. It is currently at the Pre-Alpha External Playtesting, and will be launched in the fourth quarter of the year. 

Pixelmon Hunting Grounds (Working Title)

Pixelmon: Hunting Grounds is another new update coming to Pixelmon. It is a Turn-Based RPG strictly for mobile. Players must engage the campaign mode and overcome challenging trials. They will collect, upgrade and level over 100+ Pixelmon. 

This gives them a chance to put their skills, knowledge & roster to the test as they face off against players in real time PVP in the Colosseum. That is where they will challenge PVE Boss Hunts, Elemental Lairs & Ultimate Boss Mode. It is currently at the Pre-Alpha Internal Playtesting, and will be launched next year. 

Anime - Pixelmon 12-Episodes Anime

Pixelmon released an anime teaser video which saw over 3 million views in just two weeks. This  results in a shoutout from the YouTube CEO.

Apart from the game development, Pixelmon also has a 12-episode anime in the works. The team will be making a. Twitter Question and Answer session with the team Producer and Tony Izumi, ex-CEO of Madhouse CN very soon.
