Developer Mirai Labs has announced the start of the first of 4 Swapping Campaigns for holders of assets related to the horse racing game, Pegaxy.

Campaign Details

The Swapping Campaign represents a transition event during which players can migrate their Pegaxy assets over to Pegaxy: Rush Races. This is necessary for anyone who would like to still continue using their assets because the Web3 title has moved on to the Mirai Chain, an Avalanche subnet geared towards mobile gaming.

There is a limit to the number of assets that you can migrate during this first transition event. Future events will give space for more assets to be transferred, with the final 4th event set to remove all limits, allowing players to transfer as many of their assets as they want.

For this first campaign though, players can swap a total of 4 Pega per breed type per user wallet. When doing this swap, your old Pega will be exchanged for a new one of the same breed type and bloodline but with new random base stats. The team has clarified that Crowned Pega and Valentine Pega “cannot be retained when swapping into a new Pega.” However, since your Pega ID stays the same, the developers tease that they may airdrop holders with a skin.

Holders of VIS tokens, both locked and unlocked, can also transfer their holdings, while players who want to migrate Converted Chests can exchange up to 5 per user wallet.

Points

Aside from these transitions, players also have the option of exchanging their assets and VIS for Points without any limits. Exchanging keys, consumables, old chests, Fabled tokens, and Valentine tickets into Points is also an option. These Points can be redeemed for Converted Chests to help you level up, and the number of Points that you can earn depends on the Pega’s bloodline, breed count and rarity, with Crowned and Valentine Pega worth more Points. The proccess of exchanging Points for Converted Chests can be done up to 5 times for this event and requires spending VIS. These chests are locked and untradable, and feature assets such as Cards, Parts, Pega, and Skins.
