Oh Baby! Games has made a grand entrance into the gaming realm with the launch of its debut title, Oh Baby Kart. This innovative kart racing game introduces a cross-platform multiplayer experience. This is in collaboration with Paramount Global's SpongeBob SquarePants intellectual property. 

Oh Baby Kart operates within a live service framework, prioritizing player satisfaction. The game is initially available for closed beta on Windows and MacOS starting December 14. However, the game plans to extend its reach to mobile and console platforms in 2024.

Oh Baby Kart will feature beloved characters like SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs as playable racers. There are set to be a diverse cast of over 20 characters racing across 26 courses, including a special map set in the iconic Bikini Bottom. Thus, the game brings the SpongeBob universe to life.

The platform will have 20 unlockable characters, 26 courses, and hundreds of kart customization options. A racer talent system allows mid-race stat and ability buffs, enabling players to refine their character's Grand Prix build. Each racer possesses a unique trait and multiple abilities, charged through kart drifting.

Oh Baby Kart is a Great Addition to Kart Racing 

Embracing a live services model, the game will receive regular updates featuring new characters, tracks. There will also be constant balance adjustments to ensure a dynamic, evolving gameplay experience.

The seamless cross-platform matchmaking and in-game social chat system facilitate connected gameplay with friends. There are 100-plus quests, including boss battles and in-race quests. Thus, adding exciting dimensions to the standard Grand Prix and Duo Racing formats.

Oh Baby Kart marks Oh Baby! Games' maiden release following a successful $6 million seed round earlier this year. The studio, led by founder Pasteur Tran, has multiple titles nearing completion, all set to launch on its custom-built Oh Baby! Games launcher, serving as a central hub for the studio's growing gaming community.
