In celebration of Super Bowl LVIII, blockchain gaming company Mythical Games has announced that they will be launching a new program on February 1st in their officially licensed arcade-style sports game, NFL Rivals.

Program Details

The Super Bowl program will run from February 1st to February 29th, during which players will be able to earn a new program currency: Rings. This currency will be used to gain exclusive prizes, among which is a Mythical card dedicated to the recipient of the Super Bowl MVP (Most Valuable Player) award.

Next to the new currency, the program will also bring a new collection of player cards whose stats will be based on the performances from previous Super Bowls.

A special event on “the big day of the game” is also planned to take place, during which players can get rewarded with packs through which it could be possible to get Super Bowl Gridiron Standouts. After February 14th, the last set of Gridiron Standouts will be released. This batch is set to include players from the two teams that will play, 6 players per team, 1 of which will be gainable through exclusive chase events while 5 will be attainable in packs.

Until this program begins, there’s still a bit of time left to participate in Part 2 of the Cold Snap program, that is set to end on February 1st.
