The NightClub Final Tournament of Mytheria: Clash of Pantheons was recently announced.
Mytheria is a create-to-earn NFT trading card game available for download in open beta at the time of writing. It features an exclusive artist community called GodForge where users create characters or gods and display their artwork which could potentially end up being auctioned and traded. There's also a chance of having community-made art chosen to become a part of the game by successfully passing a voting system. The champion-based free-to-play card game features PVE, PVP and battle royale game modes, allowing players to play using a starter deck containing 40 different cards, and more can be unlocked by simply playing the game. Each deck can have a maximum of 6 god cards, and a total of 3 copies of the same god, while other cards have a limit of 2 copies per deck. The first Pantheons available in the game are Greek, Norse, Chinese, Egyptian and Vietnamese. Gameplay takes place on a battlefield split into 2 lanes, with the goal being to destroy the opponent’s towers at the end of each lane.
The game has its own native token called MYRA, which is capped at a 200 million total supply, with all coins set to be issued over the course of more than 3 years. Aside from being given out as a reward, the currency can also be used for purchasing cards, upgrading cards, voting for governance proposals and more.
According to their GitBook, the tournament is set to kick off on September 6 and will feature 16 players fighting it out for a prize pool of $500 USDT, with the winner of the tournament earning $200, 2nd place $100, 3rd place $60, 4th place $40 and places 5th-8th $25.
