Myria Studios, the developers of the Myria gaming platform have announced that their own Layer 2 is now live.
Alongside officially releasing the Ethereum-based scaling solution, the team has also launched their NFT marketplace, the Myria Wallet and the developer SDK toolkit. Utilizing ZK-STARKs technology, this gas-free L2 is capable of handling up to 9000 transactions per second, which is achievable by processing and aggregating transactions away from the Ethereum network and then sending them to the main chain to be verified as one transaction. To users of the Layer 2 network, this leads to minting NFTs with zero gas fees while providing “near-instant transactions” for NFT and token trading.
Trading on the Myria NFT Marketplace is done using the non-custodial Web3 Myria L2 Wallet. Users can create a wallet by heading to the official marketplace and clicking “Connect Wallet” which will give users the option to open the MetaMask wallet in order to “create and link a STARK Key and Myria L2 wallet.”
Thanks to the API-first approach taken with the Myria Developer Toolkit, developers can easily connect to the SDK without requiring the usage of “notoriously complex coding languages such as Solidity or Cairo.” There are two SDKs: the Core SDK and the Wallet SDK. The first deals with minting NFTs, while the other features tools necessary for allowing developers to connect Myria wallets with smart contracts. More API and SDK tools will be added in the future.
Those who signed up to receive an NFT from the Alliance Sigil collection can now mint their Alliance Sigil on the Myria L2 network, allowing users to trade them on the official NFT marketplace. The link to the minting page, as well as useful links to developing on the Myria platform can be found in the official post here.
Earlier this month, Myria welcomed 7 new Web3 projects to its ecosystem.
