The developers of My Pet Hooligan have recently announced an unfortunate delay for their much-anticipated Alpha 1.5 version of the free-to-play blockchain title.

In a lengthy tweet, the studio revealed the delay of this release which was supposed to happen on Friday, May 12th, but was unable to happen due to a QA process from Epic Games that the game must undergo in order to properly launch on the Fortnite creator’s store and utilize Epic Matchmaking Servers. The company has not been given any specific timeframe as to how long this process will take, leaving the release date up in airs for the time being.

The team has noted that once the launch does happen, players will be greeted with an enhanced user experience, new skateboarding and map builds, basic player profiles, KPI tracking, Epic Games matchmaking as well as the previously-teased free-for-all game mode that players will get to enjoy across 3 different battle zones.

Last month marked the release of the official trailer for this upcoming version, while earlier this month, one of the team members working on this third-person open-world title teased that the upcoming launch will include a new free-for-all game mode for all NFT holders to enjoy. Some new cosmetics and player card backgrounds were also leaked, but they likely won’t be available straight from the release, though depending on how long this delay takes, maybe we will end up getting more content to enjoy in this early version of the game.
