Boss Fighters, a multiplayer action game for PC and VR devices, has announced a new partnership with Myria, a gaming platform which has its own Layer 2 scaling solution on the Ethereum network.
Becoming a part of the Myria ecosystem will allow for Boss Fighters to have zero gas fees and unlimited gas-free minting, while also enabling carbon-neutral NFT trading. Some of the reasons for why the team decided to form a strategic partnership with Myria include the help in managing the game’s marketplace, blockchain-related consultancy, access to over 100k users from Myria’s ecosystem and more.
Boss Fighters is an upcoming free-to-play PC vs. VR action game where one player controls a boss via a VR device, attacking in physics-based combat other players who are playing in third-person view on PC and are working together to take down the boss. An early access version of the game is planned to come out in early 2023. The game is in development by Pixward Games, a studio consisting of experienced VR developers who have a track record of over 5 years in making successful VR apps.
Myria’s all-in-one blockchain platform is launching in August this year, kicking into gears the blockchain gaming ecosystem, and aside from running on its own Ethereum-based Layer 2, it will also have its own non-custodial crypto wallet as well as an SDK to make it easier for artists and developers to make their own NFT projects.
