Well-known blockchain gaming ecosystem MOBOX is celebrating it’s 3rd anniversary from April 12th to April 19th with various rewards and updates that ensure long-term sustainability.

What are the Updates?

In an effort to provide a sustainable future for the ecosystem, the developers have decided to reduce $MBOX and MOMO emissions while lowering productivity mining in MOMOVerse.

When it comes to $MBOX emissions, token distribution has been lowered in 4 areas: MOMOFarmer LP Mining (-50%), MOMO Mining Camp (-50%), MOMOverse DCS Fruit Trade Rewards (-50%) and MOHome Prosperity Mining (-40%).

MOMO emissions in BOX Raffle has been reduced by -90%, while MOMO emissions for MOMOverse MOMO Capturing are reduced by –50%. Productivity Mining in MOMOVerse has also been cut in half.

Next to these reduced emissions, the team has also done their annual $MBOX burn as they usually do through the Annual Burn and Weekly Burn Program, this time burning 42,358,171 $MBOX tokens on April 12th, 2024.

Rewards

To thank the community for supporting the ecosystem for the past 3 years, the developers have prepared a gift for “MOMO Hodlers, MOMOverse Users, and all MOBOXers.”

The anniversary event is split into 3 parts with a total prize pool of 1 million $MBOX, 3 Legendary MOMOs, 500 Boxes and 100 Gems.

In part 1, the team is rewarding MOMO holders with an airdrop of 500k $MBOX tokens to wallets holding the NFTs before the snapshot took place on April 10th, 8 AM UTC. The rewards are being distributed based on each wallet’s MOMO Hash Power, including bonuses.

For part 2, a total of 500k $MBOX is being airdropped to MOMOVerse users with a snapshot time of April 10th, 8 AM UTC. The amount users can earn depends on every wallet’s share of MOHome Prosperity.

Part 3 is available to the whole community and includes completing various tasks to earn points. Participants need 10 points to get 1 MOMO Star, but need 3 MOMO Stars in order to get a raffle ticket, with each wallet address able to participate only once in the raffle. Tasks include doing a daily check-in for 5 points, opening 1 BOX or Chest for 10 points, consuming 1 MOMO to upgrade for 5 points, and consuming 300 MEC for enhancement for 4 points. Each task also has a maximum point limit, as seen in the below table. Potential rewards that participants could get include Legendary MOMOs, Boxes and 4 types of Gems (Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire and Topaz).

Anyone interested has until April 19th, 8 AM UTC to participate using the event link available in the official tweet. Users eligible for rewards have until April 26th, 8 AM UTC to claim their airdrops.
