Initially scheduled to globally launch on May 7th, the worldwide release of MixMob: Racer 1, a card strategy racing game, has now been delayed to May 14th in order for the developers to have a bit more time to ensure they can provide players with the best possible gaming experience.

What Caused the Change?

As the team was undergoing the final stages of testing, they ended up coming across “several opportunities” to further improve gameplay performance and add features that have been highly requested by the community. In order to meet expectations, they have decided to delay the release by one week. During this time, the developers will do more in-depth gameplay testing while integrating new features and improving stability.

New Events Leading up to Launch

To express gratitude to the community for their support, the studio has lined up some new events to look forward to during this time leading up to the new launch date.

Kicking off this new set of events is an exclusive partnership with NFT platform Drip Haus, where you can find free exclusive MixMob Digital Collectibles that let you enter the team’s $10k Sweepstakes.

A major announcement seems set to happen today, May 8th, which will bring new sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes content. This will be followed by an interactive live Q&A session where the developers will discuss new improvements and answer questions from the community. The schedule for the live session will be revealed in the future.
