The Metarun team has announced that the game’s marketplace has officially been launched.
Metarun is a play-to-earn multiplayer endless runner, made in Unreal Engine 5 and currently available in open beta. It runs on the BNB Chain and features 3 different playable 3D characters in the form of NFTs: Ignis, Oro and Penna. Each of these characters has 9 different skins, which are also NFTs. They are split into 3 different types: Classic, Epic and Legendary, but also into 3 rarities: Common, Rare and Mythical. This means that a player could have a Classic Rare Ignis or a Legendary Common Oro and so on. Aside from visual differences, all of these differ in total supply, value, maximum earnings per hour and so on. According to the developers, with “the most expensive and exclusive Legendary–Mythical skin the player can earn up to $49,5 per hour or $1,980 per month,” while a “Classic–Common skin offers 180% ROI, up to $8,1 per hour.”
After launching the NFT P2E phase earlier this month, players can now purchase all the aforementioned NFTs from the newly-released marketplace, all of which are available at a 10% discount when purchasing with the game’s $MRUN token at the time of writing. Players can also purchase a Genesis Mystery Box using either $BUSD or $MRUN for a chance at getting a rarer NFT by paying less.
More information can be found on the official Medium post.
The free-to-play NFT title is available on Android devices via the Google Play Store and iOS using TestFlight.
