In a recent Twitter announcement, Metalands, a Web3 survival shooter game, has revealed details of its upcoming Player versus Player (PvP) testing. Metalands features an intriguing world where players can plunge into the ever-changing challenging environment and battle against opponents. Players must be resilient, fortified, and strategic to gain victory in such a contest.

The announcement was accompanied by a short video that showcased the game’s lobby interface. There are different in-game characters each with a different level. According to the tweet, the game developers are working on fixing bugs that mar a seamless gaming experience. The game has recorded remarkable progress and achievements so far but still has to revamp some key areas. Players can keep tabs on future upgrades through the Metalands Discord server.

A popular game tester has released a video on Twitter showing a sneak peek of the intensive PvP testing. He commended the game for its impeccable gameplay, its crispy graphics, and the fierce competition. He also longed for the release of Metalands’ full-game version.

Metalands PvE Gameplay

Metalands PvE differs from its hybrid PvPvE (Player versus Player versus Environment) gameplay,  providing players with an exciting, progressive-world survival scenario. In this mode, players are expected to gather resources from mystical objects that can be swapped for chests packed with valuable rewards.

The Metalands team plans to roll out a free-to-play model on PC and other mobile platforms. Currently, the game is available on Play Store, App Store, or its exclusive launcher. Metalands runs on a Myria blockchain where users can enjoy instantaneous transactions devoid of gas fees. However, the game maintains the size and security features of Ethereum's main network popularly known as Layer 1.
