ConWiro, the developers of Mech Infinity, have announced that the demo for the battle royale title is now officially available.
Set in the Axie Infinity universe, the game can be downloaded on Android devices by scanning the QR code in the tweet down below, or by heading to the official website and downloading the .APK file from there. It’s one of first projects to be accepted into the Axie Infinity Builders Program, giving developers financial and technical support as well as freedom to use the Axie IP. After downloading the demo, players have to input their email, which is where they’ll receive an activation code to access the top-down title.
The demo lets players choose between 6 different Axies and 3 different Axie Mechs. The Axies are divided into Beast, Aqua and Plant classes, with 2 per class available, and there’s one Mech for each of these classes, which must correspond to the Axie equipped, meaning that players who choose a Plant Mech will have to select an Axie of the same class. There are various different equipment players can pick, also split into the 3 classes, such as the Shotgun for the Beast class, Knife Blades for the Plant, Golden shoulders to increase HP for Aquas and more.
One game mode is currently available: free-for-all, where 8 players battle it out in 3D isometric gameplay to be the last Mech standing. In the future there will also be a 3v3 mode.
According to the roadmap, the full release is expected to happen sometime in Q3 2023. Before that there will be a beta, alpha and MVP launch, with the MVP one set to include a ranking system, Ronin integration and more.
