Developer Codebit Labs has released a huge new update for their free-to-play action RPG, Lost Relics, introducing buyable player homes, a new loyalty rewards system, and more.

Update Details

The latest update adds in new effects for various weapons and relics while bringing a new way to transfer your Founder’s Token into the game. There are also new secret stash slots you can now unlock in exchange for blockchain items, as well some minor changes such as better ranged aiming and fixes for various issues, but let’s dive into what are perhaps the two most significant features of this new update: player homes and an open loyalty rewards system.

Player Homes

The highly-anticipated option to buy your very own home in the game is now officially available close to the Adventure Pass. If you’d like to get some Talmuth real estate, you can now do so for a certain amount of Gold Coins and a couple of blockchain items. You will find an NPC waiting outside for the house’s new owner, and after you interact with him to buy the home, you will be given access to a stash found outside the front door.

For now, owning a home gives you access to your stash so you can use it closer to Adventure Pass, but a future update will actually make it possible for owners to go inside their homes, and that will likely mean that the ability to decorate the interior will be available too.

New Loyalty Rewards System

The studio has decided to replace the secret loyalty rewards system with an open loyalty rewards system, now making it possible for everyone to view their progress as well as pick which rewards to receive.

Gilded Treasures have also undergone an overhaul, with Gilded Knight and Golden Storm items now “replaced with improved versions, and turned into a set of Gilded items” that can be found only at the Royal Exchange. The announcement reveals that more items will be added to the Royal Exchange in the future, and that anyone who’d like to get more discounts at the Item Shop can get some by buying a pack of Luneri.

The team has also decided to reward players who have used the shop since 2019 with a bundle of Royal Sapphires, which can now be earned whenever you purchase Luneri.

Founder’s Token

You can now transfer your Founder’s Token into the game the same as you would transfer any other item, and by doing so, the index associated with the NFT will be removed and you will be able to trade the Founder’s Token in the in-game marketplace. The team will enable trading once they can confirm that there are no transfer issues.

The studio also warns sellers on the EnjinX marketplace to cancel their listings as Enjin is set to close the marketplace on February 1st, while the EnjinX explorer is closing on April 1st. Because of all this, the developers encourage players to move their items from the Enjin wallet to the game in order to be a ready for the blockchain shift that the game is undergoing. While the team hasn’t yet decided on which chain Lost Relics will live in, they have mentioned in the official update post that “Enjin’s Matrixchain is looking promising.”
