The alpha test for Legends Reborn, a play-to-earn card game part of the Gala Games ecosystem, is now officially live.
The alpha build became available on October 20 at 12 PM PT, letting players test the game out while climbing the leaderboard. This leaderboard resets every week, with the top 10 players in a week receiving the Legend of the Tables role on the official Discord server. The leaderboard for the alpha’s first week will be reset on October 27 at 9:59 AM PT.
Throughout this playtest, everyone will be able to utilize a rotating collection of Cards, Creatures and Heroes. There is also limited Venue implementation, allowing holders of Venue NFTs to add their arena to the matchmaking queue for others to have a chance to play on it.
Aside from launching the alpha test, the developers have also reintroduced Ritual Stones, which are now called Creature Packs. This means that what was previously called a Basic Ritual Stone will be called a Creature Pack, while Elite Ritual Stones will be called Epic Creature Packs. Apart from the name changes, the rest remains the same – each pack contains 3 different randomized Creatures, with the regular Creature Pack potentially containing ones of Common, Uncommon, Rare and Epic rarity, while Epic Creature Packs has 3 Creatures that are either Epic, Legendary or Ancient rarity.
