Legendary: Heroes Unchained (LHU) is a hero-collector RPG designed for web3 gaming enthusiasts. This innovative game invites players to embark on daring dungeon ventures, dominate in intense PvP battles. They can earn on-chain assets through a prized hero collection. Thus, providing an unprecedented level of ownership and control over in-game assets.

At the core of Legendary: Heroes Unchained lies a meticulously developed Battle Engine. This is designed to govern how heroes deal and withstand damage across various battle modes. Initially, the battles unfold as 5v5 turn-based encounters in a player-vs-environment (PvE) setting. 

In PvE, teams of up to five heroes confront computer-controlled enemies. However, the Battle Engine is not limited to PvE scenarios. It is versatile and intended for various contexts during the Early Access and Live Operations phases.

The Battle Engine operates on a round-based system, where each hero takes action in turn during a round. Initiatives are determined at the start of each round, with heroes rolling for initiative based on their Dexterity stat. The resulting initiative values determine the action order. 

Perks of LHU

Fate's Bonus, a unique feature in certain game modes, adds an extra layer of excitement. After completion, players receive a bonus from Fate with diverse effects. They include bonus energy, HP gains for specific hero affinities, or a bonus Critical Strike Attack.

The bane introduces NFT Hroes, each possessing Traits that define their battle mechanics. These Traits are permanent and unalterable, shaping the Hero's journey and progression.  The game incorporates a marketplace where players can purchase Heroes. Heroes enter the game ecosystem through Drops and start at Level 1 and Evolution Tier I. They can advance in levels, evolve, and grow in power over time.

To enhance accessibility, the game made Starter Heroes, non-NFTs that players can level and evolve for free. These Starter Heroes cannot be traded or owned. However, they offer an entry point for players to enjoy the game without the initial commitment of purchasing NFTs. The game will initially launch for web browsers, with future plans to release iOS/Android and Mac/PC clients.
