Earn Alliance, the studio developing Last Remains, a stealth-based zombie battle royale, has started off the second public alpha playtest for this March that anyone can access by downloading the game for free on the Epic Games Store.
Playtest Details
The playtest started on March 16th at 10 AM UTC gives anyone 24 hours to jump in and try their best at being the last survivor standing. Unlike most other battle royales where the only threat consists of other players, this one places players in a post-apocalyptic setting, requiring you to face the undead too, or do your best to avoid them as much as possible.
Each match can include 100 players roaming about the map and scavenging buildings in search of various useful resources alongside cosmetic skins which are mintable NFTs, while an electrical sphere shrinks in size after every couple of minutes, making the playable map smaller and thus forcing players to get closer and closer to each other. A rescue helicopter is supposed to arrive within a certain location in about 30-40 minutes, with a radio message giving you a hint of which area the rescue could arrive at. To win the match, you need to be among the first 3 survivors to make it to the rescue helicopter.
If you can’t make it to this playtest, then don’t worry, as there is a new playtest to jump into every 2 weeks, all of which start on Saturdays at 10 AM UTC.
