Laguna Games, the developers of Crypto Unicorns, a blockchain farming and pet-collecting title that launched earlier this year on the Polygon network, have announced plans to release an update related to Breeding Points and Max Energy.

The team plans to adjust how much Max Energy is increased after breeding, based on Breeding Points. Instead of increasing by 2, Max Energy will go up by 1 for most of the time. These values found below apply only to adult Unicorns and not baby Unicorns, as it’s not possible for a young baby Unicorn to have more energy than they already have.

The energy will be usable in the upcoming Quests and Jousting Tournaments, requiring over 3 energy in order to take part in them.  More energy will also be needed for complex crafting recipes, but so will more experienced Unicorns in order to actually read the recipe and craft the item, as only “Unicorns who have bred enough will be eligible to participate in these high-endurance activities.” The energy cost for the crafting recipes of Tier 3 Class Items, Keystones and Boosters is planned to be adjusted.

Activities that consume more energy will of course tend to have more and better rewards compared to the ones that don’t need much energy.
