The Kiba Inu team has announced that their upcoming mini-game-focused title, Kiba Games, has been officially approved for release on the Epic Games Store.
The announcement came in the form of a Twitter post from the team’s official account on April 13th, with the developers calling it a “huge milestone” while teasing its community to look forward to “updates on the playable beta.” No specific release date was given, nor when the game will be publicly listed on the Fortnite creator’s store page, but according to their 2023 roadmap that is split into multiple phases, the developers do plan on “introducing a range of mini-games” to the Kiba Inu ecosystem in Phase 1 in order to make their NFT platform “more interactive and engaging for users.”
As revealed in the tweet down below, the 3D blockchain title takes inspiration from Fall Guys as it will feature similar gameplay where up to 50 players will progress through numerous different obstacles in an effort to be the first one to make it to the end. Those who are looking forward to being competitive will perhaps get a chance to participate in various competitions, as the tweet mentions that they plan on hosting Kiba tournaments for not only participants but also for viewers to enjoy, as the plan is to accompany these events with livestreams.
Next to the upcoming NFT title, the meme-focused ecosystem also consists of its own DEX called KibaSwap, as well as an NFT collection of 111 Kibas on the Ethereum network.
