The team working on third-person battle royale Katana Inu has officially announced mint details for the upcoming BabyDoge Character NFT, revealing prices, types of skins, scheduled date and more.

What Is This NFT About?

The BabyDoge Character NFT is an upcoming special character skin based on the BabyDoge memecoin that players will be able to use and equip as an in-game skin. A total of 1000 characters will be available for minting, with the supply consisting of 3 different variations: Samurai, Dragon and CosmoKnight, each of Immortal rarity, according to the official website.

You won’t be able to choose which skin you’d like to get, as the minting gives you a loot box containing a random skin. It will also be possible to claim a free Weapon NFT of Legendary rarity, and those also seem to have a couple of variations too.

Next to using it in-game and getting a free weapon, this NFT also gives you exclusive access to closed beta builds and the future testnet version. Once the in-game Play2Earn ranking system goes live, holders will also have an advantage in earning ranking points, though the exact specifics do not seem to be mentioned at the time of writing.

Minting will take place on Immutable on July 27th, according to the official announcement. There will be a whitelist and public phase, with whitelisted wallets minting for $20, while a mint in the public phase will cost $25. Anyone interested can try to get whitelisted by submitting their info on the official page dedicated for this NFT. An email, Twitter/X account, wallet address and optionally Discord are the details users are asked to fill.
