The Parallel City land access has finally arrived in HELIX

HELIX Metaverse, a cutting-edge, GTA-style blockchain game, is officially live with land access. NFT holders can now claim their purchased plots in Parallel City, a 1-to-1 recreation of New York City.

Created by Hypersonic Laboratories, HELIX is an open-world metaverse where players can build, explore, socialize, and engage in various activities. While the game is still in its early phase, HELIX has gained much attention in the Web3 community due to its high-fidelity graphics.

Each virtual apartment in Parallel City is tied to a specific address, serving as a hyperrealistic "home base" for players within the metaverse. As shown below, players can arrange furniture, buy collectibles, and display their NFTs in their virtual homes. With a host of customization tools available, there are endless possibilities for how players can develop their virtual plots.

Of course, more functionality, variety, and features will be available in future builds. Virtual properties in HELIX will not only serve as a player home base but also a potential source of income once virtual lands become rentable.

In February, HELIX launched its second alpha test, allowing players to explore three new game modes in the open world. Holders could also participate in a $100k tournament, earning real-life rewards while testing the game.

According to HELIX, releasing land access "is a significant step toward the true decentralization of in-game assets." They also claimed to be "one of the first blockchain games to allow holders to access their land," adding that with "AAA graphics and complex city development, the possibilities for land are endless" in HELIX.

HELIX Metaverse is currently accessible to Founder Pass holders and landowners. The immersive game is set to open to the public once it enters open beta.
