The developers of Genopets, a move-to-earn NFT title on the Solana network, have released a new game mechanics update.

Owners of Genesis Genopets are getting new benefits with this new update, including the benefit of getting a 10% Energy Conversion Bonus from Tuesday and onwards. A potential airdrop for holders of Genesis Genopets has also been mentioned, with the team suggesting taking off any pets listed on the marketplace “so you can be included in an upcoming airdrop.” With the changes made to the Step Efficiency Factor, the advantage of Genesis Genopets owners starting at level 22 is now bigger, as the team has decided to reduce KI token emissions in order to have players focus on converting Energy into XP in order to incentivize leveling up in order to earn more KI.

A feature for Guild Habitats has been released called Harvest Efficiency. This has been introduced in an effort to have Guild Habitats use the Repair and Refine features more often to help in stabilizing the in-game economy. When Harvesting Efficiency isn’t at 100%, the amount of KI that can be harvested is lower from the total amount available, thus requiring repairs. If a Guild Habitat isn’t repaired for 24 hours, its Harvesting Efficiency will drop by 25%, meaning that 25% less KI will be available for harvest.
