After revealing The Road To Market roadmap update, the Genopets team is back with more goodies to share, this time details on the upcoming Mood Multiplier.

In this move-to-earn title, Mood is a crucial aspect of your Genopet, as it is meant to show how happy your pet is by taking into account the Love, Nutrition and Joy Rings. It will also of course have an effect on this new feature, which is set to release soon. The Mood Multiplier is a variable that can alter you Step Efficiency, as the higher this multiplier is, the more Energy you will be able to convert once you choose to bank steps for the day. 

Essentially, the multiplier is meant to encourage you actively take care of your pet, meaning that if you keep all the rings in green, you’ll get a 5% boost to Energy conversion. If the average state of rings is yellow, then there’ll be no boost, whereas if they’re in red, then the amount of Energy you get is significantly lower, as banking your steps while your pet’s rings are in red will lead to a -50% Energy conversion.

No specific timeframe has been given for when this multiplier will be activated, but it probably will kick in sooner rather than later.
