Move-to-earn Solana-based NFT game, Genopets, is getting its 3rd Treasure Hunt titled the Golden Kippu Hunt starting on January 12th. 

What Is The Kippu Hunt?

The Kippu Hunt is a play-to-mint challenge through which players have a chance at earning a valuable prize. It’s available to everyone regardless of experience, and as has been the case in the previous two Treasure Hunts, this one too begins with the Genovian Alphabet, with the developers suggesting the community to save the image as it’ll be needed for decoding various ciphers throughout the event. 

What does make this hunt different from the previous ones though is that the focus has now shifted to the “theme of vision.” 

This event is set to last for 5 weeks, with 3 weeks featuring puzzles to solve, followed by one special event week and a prize week to bring the Treasure Hunt to a grand close. 

How to Participate

You will be able to participate by heading to the Mainframe where you will want to solve puzzles as fast as possible in order to earn more Kippu. The times at which the puzzles go live will be different every week in order to give everyone across the globe a chance at being the first to solve the puzzle.  

After 3 weeks, you will be able to spend the earned Kippu at B.L.I.N.K, the Binary Lottery Interface with Novelty Keepsake. By doing so, you will have a chance of attaining rare and legendary items. There are some requirements you need to keep in mind though; to mint the Golden Kippu that you earn, the announcement states that you will need 300 KI every week. Next to that you will of course also need SOL to cover fees, while B.L.I.N.K will require a minimum of 11 GENE per wager. 

Rewards

For this 3rd Treasure Hunt, the team has decided to include 6 tiers of prizes, some of which include Augments and Cosmetics that have never been released before. The most valuable one in the image is the Legendary Alkali Moragon Eyes. These Legendary Augments are said to be “among the rarest SFTs in the Genoverse,” with the official post referring to the value of the reward from the previous hunt, the Legendary Alkali Ferro Ears, as a way to give you an idea of how valuable this prize from the upcoming hunt could be as well.
