GangstaVerse has announced a Multichain Tournament for its NFT-based battle game, GangWars.

Tournament Details

Players from ICON and Base chains who own a GangstaBet NFT will be able to participate in one of the 2 available competitions: High-tier and Low-tier Tournament. The Low-tier Tournament is available to owners of GangstaBet NFTs of Level 1-6, with an entry fee of $15 also required to be paid in order to participate, For the High-tier Tournament, participants need to pay a $25 entry fee and own GangstaBet NFTs that are at least Level 7.

In any case, the tournament takes on a double elimination format in order to give teams who lose a second chance through loser rounds. A total of 8 teams will compete, with each team consisting of 4 players, meaning a total of 32 players will be able to participate, 16 from ICON and 16 from the Base chain. The tournament will last 4 days, starting from seeding rounds and heading into the upper and lower brackets of the tournament, with the upper bracket consisting of the quarter and semi finals, while the lower bracket has 4 loser rounds for teams to go through before reaching the grand final where the best team from the upper bracket battles it out with the best lower bracket side.

Rewards

A total reward pool of $15k worth of prizes is up for grabs during this tournament, with $3k worth of rewards going through social media, while the remaining $12k is split across the High-tier and Low-tier Tournaments. A total of 2000 bnUSD for each match is available for the top 3 teams in the High-tier Tournament (1st place 1000, 2nd place 700, and 3rd place 300 bnUSD), while a total of 1000 bnUSD for each match is set to be distributed to the best 3 teams in the Low-tier Tournament (1st place 500, 2nd place 300, and 3rd place 200 bnUSD). Winners will have their bnUSD distributed to their ICON wallets. Players can also look forward to in-game loot crates that are said to include weapons, items and abilities, while special rewards are also available for players who make certain achievements such as getting MVP, being the Highest Damage Dealer, or the Highest Healer.
