GAMEE has officially announced the launch of Episode 2 of Phoenix Protocol, a quest-based initiative designed for holders of $GMEE tokens.
What’s New in This Episode?
This second quest takes $GMEE holders and the protocol over to the Telegram app, where a mining mini-game can be found in the @gameechannel on Telegram. Playing this mini-game is rewarded with Loot, for which the developers have not revealed the utility yet as they want to keep it a secret for the time being. By default, you can mine 5 Loot per hour, but you can increase this limit using Tickets. Players can win Tickets by playing a variety of Telegram games via the @GAMEE bot. More Loot per hour can also be earned by inviting friends to your team using the mining app. If you get 20 active referrals, the official post states that you’ll see “a serious boost to your mining capacity.” It’s also teased that some of the top miners throughout this episode could win special random rewards.
While there’s no info on when this event will end, what is known is that there is a total of 25 million Loot to mine, making the length of the episode likely to be determined by the activity of players.
Once the event ends, participants will be able to claim their Loot on the official Phoenix Protocol page, where you will have to sign up. The first quest is still live and running there, rewarding users who hold $GMEE tokens with Loot every day.
Earlier this month, GAMEE published a Q1 2024 recap in which Q2 plans were also revealed, including a plan to develop multiple quests for the protocol. It’ll be interesting to see what other quests the team potentially has in store throughout the rest of this quarter.
