In a recent press release published earlier this week, Galaxy Fight Club has officially announced that their $200k Cross-IP Championship is slated to begin this month on February 19th.

Following the end of 2 pre-events, we now have the WildCard Tournament remaining, after which the actual final Championship will take place from February 20th to February 26th. The $200k prize pool is the total for all events, and consists of rewards in the form of NFTs, tokens and more.

The WildCard Tournament is free for anyone to sign up for, provided you have either a partner NFT, GFC GEN1 or GFC GEN 2 NFT, with space available for up to 48 teams to register. If you end up being one of the best 6 teams in this phase, you’ll end up qualifying for the second and final phase that is the Championship, featuring a 48-team group stage followed by 16 teams fighting it out in the knockouts. This second phase will feature 35 different NFT projects that include Neo Tokyo, Cyberkongz, Rumble Kong League, VeeFriends, Pudgy Penguins and more.

Yas, the CMO of Galaxy Fight Club, said the following:

"We are proud to announce that we will be inaugurating one of the largest prize pool tournaments in the web3 space that brings in great NFT communities, gamers and sponsors. We are confident that this tournament will be one of the most anticipated events for gamers and we look forward to continuing to build a fun and high-quality game regardless of the market conditions."

Those who end up following the tournament via the livestream from the game’s official YouTube channel could also have a chance of earning some rewards as well, as the developers plan on giving away $5k worth of crypto and NFTs to viewers.

According to the official article embedded in the tweet above, interested participants have until February 16th to sign up for the WildCard Tournament over on Bountie, an esports tournament platform. The tournament page can be found here.
