Crypto gaming giant Gala Games has announced that they are launching the new December Early Access build for their PvPvE extraction shooter, Last Expedition, this Monday, December 18th, to eligible players.

What’s Included in the New Build?

The latest build of the blockchain FPS improves upon the version in September in just about every way, from visuals and sounds to gameplay. Players will now be greeted with a series of tutorial materials to get you to grips with the game’s mechanics.

Everyone will access will be able to enjoy this new release until early next month, which is when the developers plan to host a special event where the Web3 title will be more publicly accessible to the community for a certain limited amount of time.

According to the announcement, node operators of this blockchain shooter will soon be able to customize their own servers, “transforming them into the private web3 LAN parties of the future.” Anyone interested in running a node and hosting a server can still purchase the Operator’s License Bundle, rewarding you with a seat in the OP Mod club, which lets you receive every new Predator OP Mod NFT released in upcoming sales. The team has teased that a new OP License Bundle sale featuring a new predator will “line up with our January event, but for now, that’s all we’ll say.”

How to Access

In order to be eligible for playing this new build, you need to have a Gala Games account with a Hunter’s Early Access Token. The latter can be acquired by buying the Hunter’s Early Access Pack from Gala’s official store. With the Hunter’s Early Access Token in your account inventory, you will be able to access the upcoming build by downloading it through the Gala Games launcher, with the official post also mentioning that you will need a free Epic Games account in order to jump into the Unreal Engine 5-based title.
