Chrono Games has officially announced the start of Season 2 for Forest Knight, a free-to-play turn-based strategy game.
The second PVP-focused season of the Polygon-based title boasts a reward pool of 250k $KNIGHT tokens, which is currently valued at around $2312 at the time of writing. With a new season also comes a new battle pass featuring various different rewards, as well as new arena obstacles to overcome. Overall, next to the game’s native token, the total amount of season rewards also includes 10 NFT weapons and 100 NFT skins, as revealed in the video embedded in the announcement tweet down below.
Last month, the developers of the mobile-focused title released a new guild system with patch 0.5.7.10, introducing new features that include guild levels, quests and more. Earlier this year, they also introduced their own content creator program in an effort to reward their creative community.
The turn-based play-to-own RPG is currently available on Android devices, with plans to make the game playable on iOS via TestFlight sometime during this quarter. In the 3rd quarter of this year, the team plans to introduce pets to the blockchain title, as well as land in Q1 2024. Some of the game’s partners and investors include Animoca Brands, Enjin, Venly, Gate.io and more.
