Farmer Pets developer Metasource Games has recently published details on upcoming drop sales and strategies ahead of the game’s launch, which is scheduled for April 28th.

On the same day the game launches, the developers will commence the Early Access Drop at 11 AM PT. The drop contains a limited supply of Diamond Packs, with the specific amount yet to be announced at the time of writing. This means that, in this drop, you’ll have a chance of getting a Diamond Land Bundle for $35 and a Diamond Tool Pack for $14. The former includes 5 diamond tools and 1 land, while the latter has 3 diamond tools. These tools cannot be crafted in the game, but they’re the best you can have and come with a +10% Yield Bonus. Those who are on the whitelist will get a 5-minute head start with their own limited supply. You can get on this whitelist by owning a Baron or Castle Mythic Land in your WAX wallet. Those are NFTs from the team’s other game, Castles NFT.

This drop will be followed by the Main Drop of Diamond Packs, scheduled for May 5th, and then the Gold Packs and Land Packs Drop on May 12th. The gold tools are also not craftable.

According to the company’s Medium post, the best strategy for the early part of the game is to stake 5 tools to 1 land that matches its tool type, with the developers stating that lands are important because “they give your tool a discount to repair and use daily.” 

The game uses a season system, with every season lasting 2 weeks. Summer will be the first season the game will start in, providing a random season effect that may include +5% in food, wood or silver earnings. Other seasons are specific: Fall grants +5% Wood Tool earnings, Winter brings +5% Silver Tool earnings and Spring comes with +5% Food Tool earnings. With this info, players are given time to properly adjust for every season, with Summer being the most unpredictable one. The resources you earn, which are food, wood and silver, will be tradable on the Atomic Hub.

Next to resource gathering, players will also be able to collect a variety of different pets that will be customizable with various different accessories, while climbing up the leaderboards in an effort to earn NFTs and various rare prizes.
