Fabwelt Studios have announced the release of Arsenal 1.09, a new version of the play-to-earn FPS made in Unity.

The update includes new maps, new gun modes, new quality settings, a mini-map widget and more. Two new maps are available: Island and Training Map. The latter lets players try out all of the game’s weapons in a training room, which is useful not only for practice, but also for deciding whether to buy a certain weapon.

The new gun modes in question are the following: sniper only, pistol only and melee only, while the new quality settings include graphical settings such as anisotropic filtering and MSAA. Enemy location can now be tracked more easily with the introduction of the mini-map widget that is visible on the top left corner of the screen.

When it comes to redeeming $WELT, players will now need to have “at least 1000 WELT in your wallet” in order to successfully withdraw their tokens. The Room List window has been improved, providing more details in order to help in choosing which room to join. A change has been made to the total score as well – it is now no longer calculated with the multiplier. This was done in order to prepare for the release Arsenal Seasons. Daily and weekly tournaments can now have special prize pools, meaning that the developers will “announce regular FFA and TDM tournaments for you to participate in where you can win bigger prize pools.”

Every map now also contains an advertisements board, which can be used to show some game highlights, but also for “marketing with third parties” or “any collaboration announcements.” Advertising on this new board requires contacting the game dev company, which can be done via an email found in the official Medium post for this update.
