The Fableborne Primordials NFT collection has successfully been migrated from Polygon to Ethereum, as revealed in an official announcement in the game’s official Discord server.

Migration Details

While the reasoning behind the switch from L2 to L1 does not seem to be publicly stated, the move certainly adds more security to the collection, ensuring its safer than ever before from any exploits. A similar case happened earlier this year, when Arc8 developer GAMEE transitioned their GMEE token from Polygon to Ethereum, though in that case an exploit did actually happen that led to around $7 million worth of tokens getting stolen. So, it’s certainly better to take precautions than risk facing a dangerous breach in security.

What is certain about Pixion Games’ migration process is that all holders have been airdropped ETH versions of their NFTs to their wallets, so there’s no need to worry about claiming your holdings from any claim page. The announcement suggests owners to check their hidden folder if they can’t see their airdropped assets, while confirming that they use this contract address: 0xD355Cd58aD1A4B9cDE8cfa34834ec3BE13c5f98d

This also means that anyone looking to list and trade ETH Primordials can now do so on new collection pages on OpenSea and Magic Eden.

What Are Primordial NFTs?

Fableborne Primordials are exclusive and unique profile pictures (PFPs) depicting creatures from the lore of the action RPG + strategy mobile game. They were minted on the Polygon network in collaboration with Magic Eden, with each PFP consisting of a couple of unique traits that each come in varying rarities.

Owning these assets can bring various benefits, such as priority access to exclusive playtests like Oathbound Trials.
