After providing a detailed overview of the game’s economy, Bright Star Studios, the developers of free-to-play MMORPG Ember Sword, have now revealed how Badge Holders will soon be able to redeem token rewards.

Redemption Process

Holders will have the opportunity to earn their airdrop rewards on June 13th, when the TGE of the $EMBER token is scheduled to take place. The amount of tokens long-time supporters will receive depends on the type of Badge owned. Owners of the Bronze Badge will be rewarded with 2500 $EMBER tokens, while holding the Silver Badge is rewarded with 5000 $EMBER tokens. Each Gold Badge owner looks set to gain 25k tokens, while owning the Platinum Badge nets you a whopping 250k tokens. For context, the token’s total supply is capped to 2.5 billion tokens.

According to the image below, owners will get to gradually claim their tokens over a 10-month period, with the FAQ section of the announcement stating that this means you get 10% of your tokens unlocked every month.

To redeem your rewards, simply log in to your account on the game’s official website, connect your wallet holding the badge(s), head to the Assets section from your profile, select your badge(s) and click “Exchange for tokens” to accept the required terms so that you can confirm the transfer with an Immutable X pop-up window. You should get a congratulatory message if the process was successfully completed, informing you that the team will send a confirmation email containing the next steps.

This redemption process may require owners to complete KYC verification. Users can redeem badges using only one account and wallet address, as your wallet cannot be unlinked from your account once it is verified and connected. You’ll have to transfer the badge to the linked wallet if the badge is located in another wallet. 

Completing the redeeming process burns the badge so that the token release process can begin. The official post recommends using an up to date Brave, Firefox or Chrome browser to do this whole redemption procedure.

Presail Partnership

The studio has partnered with Presail for $EMBER distribution to allow you to easily see details on token allocation, such as your balance, status of the next token cycles, and info on the duration of your token vesting schedule. Presail will notify via their email ([email protected]) whenever your tokens get transferred to your wallet, so you won’t need to manually claim tokens each month. You will be contacted by the Ember Sword team via email once you can see your token distribution details in the Presail portal. The same wallet used for burning your badge has to be used for accessing your account on the Presail space.
