Elixir, the blockchain game distribution platform, has acquired the Project ST IP from Spanish developer The Breach Studios. The game, now rebranded as RoboKiden, is set to launch in July as part of Elixir’s $1 million season pass rewards campaign. This 5-player team-based third-person shooter will also be released on consoles, including PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Switch.
RoboKiden will utilize the KIDEN token as a reward system, which players can use to purchase loot boxes and NFTs. This token integration aims to enhance the gaming experience by offering valuable in-game assets.
Elixir Partners Ava Labs
In a strategic move, Elixir has partnered with Ava Labs, the developers behind the Avalanche blockchain. This collaboration will see RoboKiden adopting Avalanche’s blockchain technology, enhancing its web3 capabilities. Carlos Roldan, CEO of Elixir, expressed excitement about the partnership. He said, “Our goal at Elixir has always been to bring engaging and innovative IPs to our platform. This is why we’re incredibly excited to bring RoboKiden to our community. By partnering with Ava Labs, leaders in the development of web3 tech specifically designed for gaming, we can’t wait for players to start diving into this vibrant arena shooter.”
