Following the launch of the public testnet version of Eldarune not long ago this month, the developers of the “AI-powered” fantasy RPG are now back with details on the utilities of the ELDA Runes NFT.
ELDA Runes is an NFT collection that is free to mint on the Ethereum network, set to launch with a total supply of 5000 on April 20th. Specifically, there are 2 mint phases that day, one is a guaranteed WL mint from 4:20 PM UTC to 8:20 PM UTC, while the other is a FCFS WL mint from 8:30 PM UTC to 10:30 PM UTC. Only 1 NFT can be minted per wallet.
The 5000 NFTs are divided into 5 different tiers, though a total of 7 tiers exist: Common (2400 NFTs), Uncommon (1600), Rare (600), Epic (280), Legendary (120), Ancient and Unique. Reaching the last 2 tiers can only be done through upgrading your NFT, and upgradability represents one of the 10 different utilities that come with owning this non-fungible token. According to the Medium post from the developers, the upgrade system makes the collection deflationary, as using it will require burning 1 or 2 ELDA Runes alongside an upgrade in order to get 1 Upper Tier ELDA Runes.
Another utility of this NFT is its Staking Power Bonus that allows you to earn more from staking $ELDA tokens depending on the tier of the NFT. Aside from boosting your staking rewards, staking these NFTs lets you earn Champion NFTs, while holding them can lead to earning airdrops of $ELDA tokens.
For more details on all the utilities included with ELDA Runes, you can head on over to this Medium post.
