Interoperable Web3 gaming studio and fantasy franchise Eldarune has launched its 4th game, Journey, to allow NFT holders to go on dangerous adventures for $ELDA and on-chain asset rewards through web browsers.
How Does the Game Work?
Currently available in beta and powered by the studio’s Web3 gaming infrastructure Digard, players access the dApp through their browsers by logging in to Digard and connecting their wallet to the BNB Chain. The story-based game is divided into 5 journals, of which only the first one is available for this initial beta launch. This first journal, titled The Sandyshores of Elymnias, consists of 4 different stories that have you sail to various islands of Elymnias using Pirate Captain Garcia’s ship. You can pick whichever story you want in any order depending on the NFTs and $ELDA you have, as long as there are still any remaining entries, as each story not only has asset requirements but also seems to be limited to a certain number of spots. Aside from those two details, each story also lasts a specific amount of time and has different success rates.
Essentially, this is a high-stakes text-based narrative game in which you risk sending NFTs on adventures for a chance at gaining valuable rewards. Based on the mission’s requirements, you can choose which Champions to send while equipping them with various useful items. You’ll also need a certain number of $ELDA tokens in order to send the heroes with their items on their way, waiting for the mission to end to find out if the adventure was successful. If the mission is successfully completed, you should end up getting rewarded with loot that may include various NFTs and $ELDA tokens. The rewards differ from one mission to the next, and you can see what the prizes are before starting one. If your heroes fail the mission, then there is a chance that you lose the Champions and Item NFTs that you sent to complete the task.

Overall, if you’re into staking games where you enjoy their world’s lore while risking your assets for a chance at winning rarer goodies, then Journey could be worth checking out. The developers have published a video guide on X to help you get started.
Other Games in the Eldarune Ecosystem
Next to the newest release, there are also 3 other games in the Seedify-incubated ecosystem currently in various development phases: World of Elymnias (WoE), Heroes of Eldarune (HoE), and ELDA Rush.
World of Elymnias is an AI-powered medieval idle RPG available for download in open beta on Android in the ecosystem’s official Discord server, though a PC version should be available in the future. Players can fight their way through various 10-stage PvE Dungeons to earn items and Champions while also competing for rewards in the PvP Arena. Anyone can start playing for free by connecting their wallet to Digard and minting the Elymnias Pack (Free Pack) NFT. You'll need some BNB to cover the gas fees though. This pack can be opened in your inventory from the Digard dApp to gain soulbounded assets, which you’ll need alongside a registered Digard account to start playing.
Heroes of Eldarune is a trading card game played on web browsers. It’s accessible in closed beta at the time of writing and has you build a deck out of 10 Champion NFTs to start playing against other players. A free deck can also be used. Each Champion has unique abilities and different stats, with the number of Mana Points needed to place them in battle varying based on the NFT’s rarity.
ELDA Rush is a PC and mobile MOBA that’s not only inspired by Dota and League of Legends, but also by Diablo, as this game will feature Diablo-like dungeons to battle your way through alongside competitive 3-lane MOBA battles. As this one’s currently in closed alpha, it looks like you’ll have to apply to a waitlist by filling out a form linked in the Games section of the official website in order to have a chance at gaining early access.
