The developer of E4C: Fallen Arena, Ambrus Studio, has shared details on how on-chain assets work in this top-down battle royale.
What Assets Are There?
The game’s NFTs are on the Sui Network as the studio is their strategic partner, while the main assets that players can earn in this free-to-play title include weapons and weapon fragments.
Weapon Fragments
Weapon fragments are earned by leveling up your way through the Battle Pass, with the Epic track featuring even more of these assets. In the future, players will be able to exchange Combat Tickets for a “significant” amount of weapon fragments. As the name of this resource may imply, you will be needing these fragments to create most of the available weapons.
Weapons
With enough weapon fragments to merge, you can create a variety of different weapons, burning the weapon fragments in the process. When crafting a new weapon, you are minting a new item that will come with a random set of attributes, with the randomization said to add “an element of excitement and surprise,” as you never know what kind of unique weapon you might get.
Players will soon be able to directly trade both weapons and weapon fragments on the game’s own official marketplace. For the time being, you can transfer your Weapon NFT to your Sui wallet in order to trade on secondary markets if you want to.
You can start earning weapon fragments now by playing the beta version of the game which just recently launched for Windows and Mac.
