The developers of DinoX, a dinosaur-themed play-and-earn combat strategy metaverse, have released the World Map alongside Land Claiming.

Players can now redeem Land Ticket NFTs for plots of land on the map, picking their desired location. Details on how to acquire Land Tickets can be found here. Just like the tickets, there are 5 different land rarities: common, uncommon, rare, epic and mythic. These are all visible on the map, allowing players to see which land are they able to claim. The Land NFTs are on the Polygon network, and aside from being able to trade them “on the open market” there will be a P2P marketplace in the future for players to trade NFTs in. Those who decide to hold onto their land plots will be able to stake them at some point in the future to earn various rewards.

The interactive map features various filters that allow players to easily sort by size, unclaimed & claimed land plots and rarity. Players will be able to make custom usernames, so if a land is already under a player’s ownership, others will be able to see the owner’s username.

There will be more details on land staking in the future, as well as info on “Encounters & Tournament” and what kind of resources will be in these land NFTs. The higher a land’s rarity, the more buildings, features and resources it can have, while the terrain on which the land is located on has no functional effect, only visual.

Those who’d like to find out more about land utility can check out the official Medium post here.
