Following an announcement of some major updates coming this month, blockchain game developer MoonLabs Studios is now back with even more news of what else the community can expect to go live in February for the Web3 blockchain RPG, Devikins.
February Plans
The developers have decided to temporarily pause the procreation feature as a “pivotal step in our ongoing commitment to refining and balancing the game.” Events focused on increasing your odds when using the Sacrifice feature are planned to go live this month, alongside various bug fixes and improvements. Some issues have already been addressed, such as sync errors when starting PVE, while the marketplace now allows a maximum listing quantity of 1000 instead of 10.
On February 1st, a new Battle Pass is going live, while February 6th will mark the start of the Abyssal Eclipse Event. Valentine’s events have also been teased to be on their way.
Battle Pass
The new Battle Pass is said to be focused on helping you “in sacrificing your Devikins while offering a great deal in return.” To use the sacrifice feature, you need to sacrifice 4 Devikins to the Void, and by doing so you have a chance of gaining one stronger Devikins, so if you have a lot of Devikins you don’t need then this seems to be time to take a chance for getting a better one.
Abyssal Eclipse Event

The Abyssal Eclipse Event is geared towarsd providing players “a more balanced and enjoyable Void experience” and is scheduled to run from February 6th to March 4th, For this event, all Devikins will be at level 100 in real-time PvP, while personality bonuses won’t be affected in order to continue rewarding dedicated players. Ranking rewards have also been increased to provide a larger amount of DVK to everyone.
