Following on the updates released in January, the developers of DeFi Kingdoms have kicked off this month with a new version of the blockchain title that introduces a variety of quality of life improvements.
The new changes were released on Friday, February 3rd, improving performance when choosing Heroes to do quests in the Hero Hub while increasing the max width of the Hero Hub in order to allow larger monitors to show up to six Heroes at the same time. Perilous Journey filters have also been added to the Hero Hub, letting players see if there are any survivors in their personal Hero view, as well as a “long list of those who perished at sea in the Hero Catalog.” Next to these filters, a Dark Summoned filter is now included in the Hero Hub as well, making it possible to easily see which Heroes were born from dark sacrifice. The filters you set through the filter menu in the Hero Hub will be remembered by your browser, and so will whether Hero animations are toggled off or not, even between refreshes.
The Meditation Circle now has a dropdown for auto-populating stats depending on a number of settings which are not supposed to be “recommendations or “best paths” for leveling” but are merely options the player can choose depending on the stats and stat growth of their Hero.
Last but not least, in line with the newly-introduced Power-Ups feature, there are now confirmation modals that appear before you send or bridge a Hero with active Power-Ups, with the modals giving players the option to press a button that cancels all the Power-Ups for that Hero.
