The developers of Cyberpunk City, a metaverse made in Unreal Engine 5, have published a recap of development in March to provide the community with an update on a variety of goodies that the studio has been working on, including a demo game map.
Key March Highlights
For last month, the team has been working on a demo map, inventory system integration, a new car collection, new launcher and various 3D assets. As for announcements throughout the past month, they include listing on DEX Screener, reaching a milestone with the CityNFT collection and integrating with FLIPiX, an NFT marketplace on MultiversX. They also revealed that the company’s co-founder and COO will be attending this month’s Blockchain Life & Token 2049 Dubai events, while unveiling the CyberNetwork.
Demo Map & CAR Collection

In this latest recap, the team has provided new details on the upcoming demo map release, revealing that they plan on launching the demo map with a new launcher. Once the team has successfully integrated a wallet system to the launcher, the demo map will be ready for release. As for the map itself, the developers have revealed that in its first version, you can look forward to driving test cars, using new weapons, an improved locomotion & combat system, gliding (parachute) system, parkour, a new map system, and more.

A sneak peek of the new car collection will also be available, with the studio revealing that development on the new collection is almost done. They expect to have the collection ready for release in this Q2 2024.
Inventory System & 3D Assets

After providing a glimpse of the inventory system in a previous update post, the team has now revealed that a prototype of it has been integrated into the game, with continuous refinements being made to provide a polished experience.
Next to sharing the visuals of the system, the team has also provided a showcase of some of the 3D assets they’ve been working on.
