After ending the second season on January 15th and releasing their play-to-earn title in open alpha on January 20th, the developers of Cyber City have followed it all up by announcing that Season 3 of Secret Missions is now officially live.
The new season kicked off last month on January 26th and lets players earn +50% more rewards by getting to level 5 in the downloadable turn-based title that is available on Windows PCs.
Secret Missions is essentially a browser-based NFT staking game that lets you make use of your NFT characters by sending them on expeditions to various locations, allowing you to earn the game’s CYBR tokens and potentially a resource pack in the process, with a 10% chance of receiving the latter. There are 6 districts you can choose to send your NFTs on a mission to, with every district having a different rewards and mission duration, while also requiring a differing amount of characters depending on how strong the certain district is. For example, the Grand Hall requires 1 point of strength, while the Garden Side requires a minimum of 6 points. A Common character has 1 point of strength, a Rare one has 2, and a Legendary NFT has 3 points. This means that if you want to send a character to a mission over at the Grand Hall, you can just send 1 Common character, but if you want to do Garden Side, the strongest district, then you’ll need a squad consisting of characters that all in total meet or exceed the requested number of points.
The instructions on how to play Secret Missions can be found in the official Medium post here.
