Cult LDN, a creative agency that previously hosted the Metaverse Beauty Week last month, has now formed a partnership with FFFACE.ME, an XR and Web3-focused company, to work on launching Metaverse Beauty World.

According to RaritySniper, they state to have received a press release which is said to reveal that Metaverse Beauty World consists of a mixture of experiences across Web3, Web2 and real life. AR technology will be utilized to allow users to express themselves in “thrilling and dynamic virtual beauty experiences.”

Next to being able to try out products using AR, the beauty-focused virtual world is set to feature immersive installations, interactive displays, and 360-degree creative communications.

Bridey-Rae Lipscombe, the CEO of Cult LDN and co-founder of Metaverse Beauty World, said the following:

“We believe in embracing the unknown. “It’s who we are as an organization. Exploring Web3 initiatives with a brand marketing lens allows us to deep dive into this new territory and take our learnings with us as we partner with innovation teams and brands that want to unlock future potential in Web3.”

Details on when this virtual world will launch do not seem to be available at the time of writing. In June, the creative agency hosted the Metaverse Beauty Week on Decentraland, Spatial, and Roblox, with the event featuring various wearable NFTs for users to try on their in-game avatars, alongside contests with digital and physical prizes. It currently remains on whether this upcoming platform will launch on the same metaverses, a different one, or be its own metaverse.

Cat Turner, the CCO of Cult LDN and co-founder of Metaverse Beauty World, added:

“It’s an exciting time for the beauty industry as it continues to pioneer with Web3 and metaverse strategies. We therefore feel the time is ideal for our heritage and experience in this field to coalesce with the emerging realities. This typifies what true beauty innovation is about — exploration, self-expression and celebrating the unique parts of who we are.”
