Gaming ecosystem and studio Crystal Fun has announced the imminent launch of a staking event for OUTER Spaceship NFTs, through which holders of assets from the first game on the platform will be able to earn the Genesis Crystal NFT.

What Is a Crystal NFT?

Crystal NFT is the Genesis NFT of this decentralized ecosystem, designed to serve as “the platform’s equity NFT.” It will launch on Arbitrum with a total supply of 5000 and will be split into 3 levels: Pure Crystal, Passion Crystal and Dream Crystal.

A total of 4225 of these NFTs will be earnable through staking, while the remaining 775 will go into ecosystem treasury in order for them to be utilized over time as rewards for community contributions and marketing activities.

Owners of the upcoming Crystal NFT will be able to earn airdrops, stake to mine upcoming $CFUN tokens, receive priority access to future NFT mints, whitelist access for future game testing, and special roles in Discord. Before the TGE for $CFUN takes place, a couple of snapshots will take place between the Crystal NFT launch and the token release in order to reward holders with airdrops, with the first round of airdrops set to distribute a total of 6,246,000 $CFUN tokens. The amount of tokens you could gain will depend on the number of snapshots you’re in. As for mining $CFUN, this feature alongside staking will be introduced at some point later on.

Event Details

Holders of OUTER Spaceship NFTs, which are assets representing player ships used for playing sci-fi MMO OUTER, will officially be able to take part in a staking event starting from May 13th, 8 PM UTC+8. The staking channel will close on May 21st, 8 PM UTC+8, while the Genesis Crystal NFT will launch on June 10th, 8 PM UTC+8. If you meet the staking criteria, you will be able to earn the upcoming Crystal NFT, which will be automatically distributed to player’s wallets within 48 hours of launch without needing to manually claim.

The staking criteria is as follows: in order to be eligible to earn a Crystal NFT, you will need to stake at least a level 4 NFT spaceship, which will allow you to earn a Pure Crystal NFT. To earn a Passion Crystal NFT, players need to stake a level 5 NFT spaceship, while getting the Dream Crystal NFT requires staking a Golden NFT spaceship.
