Crypto Unicorns developer Laguna Games has announced the start of the Fall Event for their Polygon-based blockchain farming game.
The event has players gather Cornucopias in order to earn points necessary for Milestones and for climbing up the Leaderboard. Getting Cornucopias requires crafting and farming items specific to this event. This means that there are 3 new seeds players have to plant in order to grow special Fall items. These new seeds are Apple Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds and Cranberry Seeds. Attaining them requires completing 3 different event quests, where the goal is to basically have the necessary items in order to complete the quests and get the new Fall Seeds. These quests last 6 hours, can be finished multiple times and “will require 2 Unicorns and 3 Energy each.”
Once you have the Seeds, you can plant them in order to grow them into Fall Event items. Each type of Seed costs 3 Energy to plant, while the time it takes to grow varies by type, with Cranberry Seeds taking 2 hours, Apple Seeds 8 hours and Pumpkin Seeds 24 hours to completely grow. The developers have stated that due to these being special Fall Event items, the “Berry Amount and Speed bonuses won’t apply when growing these.”
After growing these Seeds, players can craft a variety of different Fall Holiday Treats. The recipes for them get unlocked at Workshop Level 3. Some of the treats that can be crafted include Moon Pie, Cranberry Tea Cakes, Fluffy Mashed Potatoes and more. They can be used to complete Thanksgiving Feast Quests, which give 1 Cornucopia per quest as a reward.
This event will end at some point in December and includes rewards such as Fall Event Lootboxes, Seedbags and more. For more details, check out the official Medium post here.
Earlier this month, a jousting gameplay trailer for the play-to-earn title was released.
