The Crypto Raiders team has recently announced the launch of Cyber Stadium, an NFT auto-battler labeled as the “first closed loop, 100% on-chain NFT game.”

This new blockchain title from the developers of the 2D dungeon crawler went officially live yesterday on March 26th on the Polygon network, marking the launch day by randomly giving away 10 Gladiator NFTs to lucky giveaway entrants. Owning such an NFT is necessary to play this 1v1 on-chain title from which all revenue generated the developers will put back into the rewards pool in order to continuously have funds to reward winners with daily. The daily rewards being given out consist of 1% of the total rewards pool.

If you missed out on this giveaway down below, then don’t worry, as according to a tweet from the CEO behind the cyberpunk-themed title, the team has spent $10k in order to mint 100 Gladiators which are reserved specifically for giveaways during the game’s launch week.

According to the minting page on the game’s official website, the total supply of Gladiator NFTs is 10k. At the time of writing, a total of 1969 NFTs have been minted so far, meaning there’s still plenty remaining for you to get your hands on for a mint price of $100 USDC per NFT.

In this NFT title, matchmaking, loot and combat are randomized using Chainlink’s technology as players use Gladiators to fight in two different arenas: Training Grounds and Cyber Stadium. The former is a risk-free, non-permadeath arena where you battle other players in an effort to win loot boxes, which contain gear to equip your Gladiator with. While both the winning and losing side are rewarded with a loot box, the one awarded to the winner has a higher chance of dropping a better item than the loot box given to the player who lost.

As for the other one, the staking-based arena called Cyber Stadium, that one is a permadeath mode, meaning that if you lose, your NFT gets burned, thus adding an element of risk to the RNG-based title. Both winners and losers, however, are rewarded a share of the total prize pool that contains around $205k USDC at the time of writing.
